Some of the most interesting things that you will learn when you are in college is not necessarily a specific skill about the job that you will take on when you graduate, but general information about the world. And contrary to what you may think, simply because you are taking a career in economics, it does not mean that you are putting yourself in a position where you can only work in banking or finance. There are so many other careers that you can take part in – but what you are getting with these degrees is the general knowledge that is going to help you so much later in your life!
